In her first term on the Albert-Eden Local Board, Julia successfully drove progress on planning high impact climate action and future funding for more trees.

She supported community groups with planting and stream restoration, and helped to secure the new community recycling centre for the area.

She promoted more bus shelters to improve use of  public transport, supported safer road speeds and better conditions for people on bikes, and has taken action with the community on pedestrian safety.

Julia successfully advocated for funding a wider range of community groups and worked with young people to include them in the board’s submission to government on reducing plastics.

If re-elected, Julia hopes to continue backing better housing provision and advocating for improved development outcomes, with more green spaces and community gardens.

She has extensive legal and governance experience and supports well-informed, transparent decision-making.

Julia looks forward to working with City Vision to ensure Albert-Eden continues to thrive.
