Raised in Beach Haven, I have worked across Auckland in social services most of my adult life. I am again putting myself forward as a candidate for the Kaipātiki Local Board. It has been a steep learning curve this first term, and some gradual progress has been made. To continue the work, I am seeking your vote.

What motivates me to stand is intergenerational equity, so that generations to come will have cleaner water, air, and better natural and built environments, to raise their families and build communities.

I am passionate about local decision-making and strengthening community leadership, resilience and participation. I am committed to local governance that honours te Tiriti o Waitangi. I believe the local board must deliver on environmental restoration and climate action, so as to future proof our infrastructure, accelerate public and active transport, particularly to our schools, work and local communities.
