A current member of Whau Local Board, I’m seeking to continue the Green mahi I’ve initiated while elected this term.

An advocate for community resilience in the face of climate emergency, my primary strength is in promoting emission-reductions via active transport. With a biodiversity crisis coming head to head with a desperate need for more quality housing I am a voice for access to and protection of fresh water, clean energy, tree canopy cover, food equity, green spaces, and resource recovery over waste. I use a holistic systems approach to ensure economically viable kaitiakitanga for both existing and future generations and support others to make informed decisions, while continually improving through learning.

My recent work has contributed to cheaper access for all to home water tanks, an urban ngahere strategy for the Whau, progressing public access to Play Streets and winning additional CCO funding for local community events.

I’m an Avondale resident and spend a lot of time locally, you’ve probably seen me biking about on my mint green ebike. I’ve gained personal experience in council processes and living lightly on the land while self-building an eco-home with my partner. Collecting our own rain-water, and replanting native trees nurtured from seed, in a house on a small footprint is my way of contributing to urban regeneration done right.

I invite you to view my history and mahi on any of the links below and I’d LOVE any help during my campaign. There are so many ways to show your support so don’t be shy about getting in touch, there are no contributions too small!
