Mark Allen is putting his hat in the ring again as a candidate after serving this term on the Waitākere Ranges Local Board. He was raised in Laingholm and lives in Te Henga.
He is also currently on and seeking re-election to the Waitākere Licensing Trust.
With over 35 years local government experience, Mark brings a solid knowledge of the internal workings and how to increase community influence.
He is passionate about strengthening community resilience, delivering te tiriti in local governance, environmental restoration, climate action, future proofing infrastructure and accelerating public and active transport options.
