In Jon’s first term on the board, he has succeeded in implementing more funding for active transport, tree planting in streets and parks, migrant conservation groups, business training for recent migrants, more drinking fountains in parks, pest and weed control, and worked with mana whenua, CCO's and government agencies such as Kāinga Ora to ensure a sustainable future for Puketāpapa.

If re-elected, Jon hopes to continue the mahi begun in making the area safe for all to get around using a variety of transport options, increase funding for the Waikōwhai Coast and other parks, continue to build strong relationships with mana whenua and continue the work begun on ensuring all in our diverse community have the capacity to engage with Council processes.

Jon looks forward to working with Roskill Community Voice to ensure Puketāpapa continues to thrive.
